The Public Notice Portal is a fully searchable online platform of public notices published in local newspapers created by trusted local news brands and developed with funding from the Google News Initiative. It makes it easier for people to find important local information about what’s going on in their local area, like planning, licensing, and transport changes. By leveraging local news brands’ huge digital reach to make public notices more accessible and visible, the portal enhances public awareness, encourages greater community engagement, and strengthens access to local democracy.
